Trump’s MAGA Inc. Holds $350M Amid Midterm Spending Urgency

MAGA Inc., the super PAC associated with former President Donald Trump, currently has over $350 million in funds, prompting anxiety among Republicans for its timely deployment ahead of the November midterm elections. Trump has attempted to enhance Republican prospects by criticizing Democrats and highlighting falling gasoline prices.

However, MAGA Inc. has not made significant expenditures since March, when it contributed $17,900 to Rep. Clay Fuller’s campaign in Georgia.

Instead, it allocated $560,000 to a Kentucky super PAC and incurred various consulting fees. Polling indicates considerable disapproval of Trump and his policies, leading Republican candidates to urge him to focus on affordability issues.

Trump's endorsement of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton over incumbent Sen. John Cornyn has also raised concerns about potential electoral setbacks.

James Blair, Trump’s chief political director, stated that spending decisions would be made but did not provide specifics. A senior White House official indicated that spending decisions may wait until after the convention starting September 9.
