Tsitsipas Secures First ATP Title in 16 Months

Stefanos Tsitsipas won his first ATP title in 16 months by defeating Belgian player Raphael Collignon in the Swiss Open final held in Gstaad. The match concluded with scores of 6-4, 6-7(3), 7-6(3), allowing Tsitsipas to secure his 13th ATP title.

The last time he won a title was at the Dubai Open in March 2025, where he defeated Felix Auger-Aliassime in straight sets. Following this victory, Tsitsipas is expected to climb from 85th to 55th in the ATP world rankings.

During the final, Tsitsipas showcased impressive serving skills, hitting four aces without any double faults and winning 21 out of 29 second serve points. He also saved two break points throughout the match.

This victory marks Tsitsipas's sixth title on clay courts, with notable previous wins including the Monte Carlo Masters in 2021, 2022, and 2024. Raphael Collignon, ranked 42nd in the world, was competing in his first-ever ATP final.
