Leeds United Signs Tarik Muharemovic for $45 Million

Leeds United has officially signed Tarik Muharemovic, a 23-year-old central defender from Bosnia and Herzegovina, for a reported fee of $45 million. The transfer from Sassuolo marks Muharemovic as the second signing for Leeds this summer, following the departure of Pascal Struijk to Brighton for $20 million in June.

Muharemovic has agreed to a five-year contract with the Premier League club as they continue their preparations for the 2026-27 season. His impressive performance in Serie A last season contributed to the decision to bring him to Leeds.

The club has also welcomed the addition of Welsh forward Harry Wilson, who joined on a free transfer from Fulham earlier in the close season.
