TTP Seeks Approval for N200M Port Traffic Digitization Solution

Truck Transit Park (TTP) is seeking regulatory approval to deploy a N200 million electronic tag system aimed at improving truck movement efficiency and reducing traffic congestion around Nigerian ports. The Managing Director of TTP, Jama Onwubuariri, emphasized the importance of regulatory collaboration to fully implement the digitization solution.

The system is designed to address issues such as number plate duplication, delays in delivery orders, and physical blockages causing traffic stalls. By investing in this technology, TTP aims to ensure seamless traffic flow across the entire port transport chain with the support of relevant regulatory agencies like the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) and the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC).
