Tottenham Coach Igor Tudor Charged Over Referee Comments

Igor Tudor, the 47-year-old interim coach of Tottenham Hotspur, has been charged with misconduct following comments made about referee Thomas Bramall after Tottenham's 2-1 loss to a relegation-threatened side on March 1. Tudor criticized Bramall's officiating, claiming he favored the home team and expressed disbelief over a goal scored by Raul Jimenez, which he believed should have been disallowed due to a foul.

Tudor stated that "99 out of 100 people will say it's a foul," indicating his strong feelings about the officiating. The charge alleges that Tudor acted inappropriately during a post-match interview, implying bias and questioning the integrity of match officials.

This incident marks Tudor's second charge as Tottenham struggles with a ten-game winless streak in the league, currently sitting 16th and just above the relegation zone. The club's performance has been poor, including a significant 5-2 loss in the Champions League to Atletico Madrid.
