Turaki Vows to Rebuild PDP After Emerging as National Chairman

Turaki has been elected as the new National Chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) during the party's convention in Ibadan. In his acceptance speech, Turaki promised to reform the party, eliminate impunity, and reaffirm PDP's identity as a grassroots political movement.

He garnered 1,516 votes, far ahead of his closest rival, Senator Yakubu Danmark. Former Anambra Central Senator, Ben Obi, confirmed Taofeek Arapaja as the new National Secretary of the party.

Turaki aims to unveil a roadmap for the party's direction and leadership, emphasizing a team approach to rebuilding the PDP.
