PDP's Tanimu Turaki Meets State Chairmen to Strengthen Party Leadership Amid Disputes

Tanimu Turaki, a prominent member of the PDP, convened a meeting with 29 state chairmen in Abuja to consolidate the party's national leadership amidst ongoing internal conflicts. The meeting, held at the Musa Yar'Adua Centre, aimed to reaffirm the legitimacy of the National Working Committee (NWC) elected at the last convention in Ibadan.

Turaki emphasized the need for unity and support from the state chairmen to solidify the party's structure and reclaim power in the upcoming 2027 elections. Nyesom Wike's continued challenge to the party leadership was also addressed at the meeting.
