Turaki Strengthens PDP Structure, Meets Ex-Govs and Ministers for Party Revival

Tanimu Turaki, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) National Chairman, convened a meeting with ex-governors and ministers to revamp the party's structure for a comeback in Nigerian politics. The gathering in Abuja included prominent figures like Babangida Aliyu and Ibrahim Shekarau.

Turaki emphasized PDP's achievements during its 16-year rule, promising progress if the party regains power. Former governors expressed concerns about Nigeria's political landscape under the APC government, highlighting the need for a strong opposition.

They pledged support for Turaki's leadership and urged the new National Working Committee to focus on rebuilding the party amidst challenges.
