Turkey: Osimhen fails to score in second Galatasaray debut

Victor Osimhen, the Super Eagles striker, failed to score in his second debut for Galatasaray as they faced Fatih Karagumruk on Friday night. Osimhen started on the bench and was left out of the squad in their previous victory against Gaziantep.

Despite his absence, Karagumruk's Baris Alper Yilmaz scored twice, opening the scoring in the 10th minute. Osimhen was eventually brought on in the 61st minute, and Galatasaray scored their second goal within 13 minutes of his introduction.

The game ended with Karagumruk defender Fatih Kurucuk inadvertently putting the ball into his own net in the 87th minute. Mauro Icardi, who was also introduced as a substitute in the 81st minute, scored to secure the win for Galatasaray.
