Osimhen Returns But Fails To Score As Galatasaray Beat Fatih Karagumruk 3-0

Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen made his return to the field but failed to score as Galatasaray secured a 3-0 victory over Fatih Karagumruk. Osimhen, who missed the previous game due to injury, started on the bench as coach Okan Buruk opted for Baris Alper Yilmaz, who justified his selection by scoring twice.

Karagumruk's task became even harder when Marius Doh was shown a straight red card in the first half. Osimhen was finally introduced in the 61st minute to loud applause from the Galatasaray supporters, but despite his sharp movement, he was unable to find the back of the net.

Mauro Icardi, who came off the bench, sealed the win with Galatasaray's third goal in the 87th minute. Galatasaray will next face Kayserispor at the Kadir Has Stadium on Sunday, August 24.
