Paul Onuachu Scores First Goal Against Galatasaray

On Saturday, Paul Onuachu, a striker for Trabzonspor, set a new record by scoring against Galatasaray, a team featuring Victor Osimhen, in a 2-1 victory in the Turkish Super Lig. This goal was particularly notable as it was Onuachu's first-ever goal against Galatasaray, marking a landmark moment since he had previously been unable to score against the Turkish Super Lig champions in prior meetings.

The match took place at Papara Park, where Onuachu's goal came from a precise header following a cross from Wagner Pina, who had scored earlier in the first half. With this goal, the 31-year-old Onuachu has now scored against three of Turkey's traditional big clubs, having netted twice against Fenerbahçe and once against Beşiktaş this season.

This latest goal brings his tally to 22 in the domestic league, extending his lead in the top scorer chart ahead of Istanbul Başakşehir's Eldor Shomurodov, who has 16 goals. Onuachu aims to continue his impressive scoring form when Trabzonspor faces Alanyaspor next weekend.
