Turkish Airlines Boosts Lagos Flights to 10 Weekly in December
Turkish Airlines is set to increase its flight frequencies on the Lagos–Istanbul route from seven to ten weekly services, effective December 11, 2026. This decision is driven by the growing demand for travel between Nigeria and Türkiye, as well as access to the airline's extensive global network.
The additional flights will offer passengers greater flexibility and more convenient connections through Istanbul, increasing the number of weekly flights serving Lagos by three. The new schedule includes three additional weekly services on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
The existing daily service, flight TK 625, will continue to operate, departing Lagos at 3:20 p.m. and arriving in Istanbul at 8:25 p.m. The return flight, TK 626, will also operate daily, departing Istanbul at 10:10 p.m. and arriving in Lagos at 6:35 a.m.
Passengers connecting through Istanbul will have access to over 350 destinations worldwide. This expansion follows an increase in Turkish Airlines’ Istanbul–Abuja services to seven weekly flights in June 2026.
