Two Footballers Die in Tragic Tunnel Crash, One Month After Diogo Jota’s Death

Two footballers tragically died in a tunnel crash, just a month after Diogo Jota's death. Danilo Boz and Fabio Rosa from ASD Calcio Maniago Vajont in Italy's Promozione league lost their lives in the accident while returning home from training.

The crash involved a Renault Twingo driven by Boz and a Volkswagen Tiguan driven by teammate Andrea Zoccoletto. Boz and Rosa died on the spot, while Zoccoletto was hospitalized in serious condition.

The club has suspended sporting activities as the community mourns the loss. This incident comes after Jota's brother, Andre Silva, died in a car accident caused by a tire blowout.

Jota, a Portuguese striker, had recently celebrated his partner's ceremony in Porto. The football world is mourning these tragic losses, including the recent passing of Northern Irish footballer Aaron Moffett in a road traffic accident.
