Troops Repel ISWAP Attack in Borno, 15 Terrorists and 4 Soldiers Killed

In Borno State, troops successfully repelled an attack by ISWAP terrorists in the Ngamdu area, resulting in the deaths of 15 terrorists and 4 soldiers. Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba reported that the terrorists used rockets, drones, and improvised explosive devices during the attack.

Despite sustaining casualties, the troops held their ground and inflicted significant losses on the terrorists. The military swiftly responded, clearing the area and reopening the main supply route.

Mass burials of the terrorists were reported, and ongoing operations aim to deny the terrorists freedom of action.
