Tyson Fury Promises Knockout of Anthony Joshua in December

Tyson Fury has vowed to knock out Anthony Joshua within seven rounds when they meet at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on December 11. Fury, speaking for the first time since the fight was confirmed, described Joshua as a “stepping stone” towards a third bout with Oleksandr Usyk, who defeated him twice on points in 2024.

Fury expressed confidence in achieving a one-sided victory, stating, “I’m just going to knock him out, one hundred per cent.” He criticized Joshua's speed and stamina, labeling him an “old bum” and a “weightlifter.” Fury also mentioned his desire for a third fight with Usyk in the United States, believing he would receive a fair decision there. He reflected on previous failed negotiations with Joshua and expressed excitement about finally facing him in the ring.
