Tyson Fury Calls Joshua a Stepping Stone for Usyk Rematch

Tyson Fury, the former heavyweight champion, referred to Anthony Joshua as a "stepping stone" towards a potential rematch with Oleksandr Usyk ahead of their fight scheduled for December 11 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. In his first public comments since the fight was confirmed, Fury predicted he would knock out Joshua within six or seven rounds.

He stated, “I’m just going to knock him out, one hundred per cent,” and expressed confidence in his ability to dominate Joshua, saying he would “cut through him like a hot knife through butter.” Fury, who faced two defeats against Usyk in 2024, emphasized that his main goal is to secure another opportunity against the Ukrainian. He also criticized Joshua's physical condition, questioning his speed and stamina, labeling him as “an old bum” and a “weightlifter” with insufficient cardio.

The upcoming bout is significant as it features two of Britain's prominent heavyweight boxers.
