UAC of Nigeria PLC filed its unaudited financial results for the three months ended 31 March 2026 on 28 April 2026. The filing discloses group revenue of ₦191bn, profit before tax of ₦23bn, and earnings per share of 449 kobo, with performance largely driven by the consolidation of C.H.I. Limited acquired in October 2025.

UAC of Nigeria PLC reported group revenue of ₦191bn for Q1 2026, a 241% increase from ₦56bn recorded in Q1 2025. The company attributed the growth primarily to the consolidation of C.H.I. Limited, which it acquired from The Coca-Cola Company in October 2025, alongside volume growth in its Packaged Food and Beverages and Paints segments.

Gross profit rose 285% to ₦55bn, with gross margin expanding 321 basis points to 28.7%. Operating profit reached ₦28bn, compared to ₦6.8bn in Q1 2025, with operating margin improving 266 basis points to 14.8%. Net finance cost was ₦6.5bn, reflecting higher borrowing costs from the acquisition, partially offset by a ₦6.8bn foreign exchange gain on revaluation of foreign currency borrowings.

Profit before tax came in at ₦23bn, 348% higher than the ₦5bn reported in Q1 2025. Earnings per share stood at 449 kobo versus 106 kobo in Q1 2025. The Group's long-term debt-to-LTM EBITDA ratio improved to 2.1x in March 2026 from 3.2x in December 2025. The Packaged Food and Beverages segment contributed ₦161bn in revenue and ₦25.6bn in EBIT for the quarter.
