UBA Denies Divorce Rumors About Chairman Toni Elumelu

United Bank for Africa (UBA) has issued a formal notice denying rumors about the alleged divorce of its Group Chairman, Toni Elumelu. The bank described the claims as entirely fabricated and intended to damage its reputation.

Alero Ladipo, the Group Head of Brand and Marketing at UBA, stated that the allegations were reckless and designed to mislead the public. UBA has reported the matter to law enforcement authorities, which have already commenced action, resulting in the arrest of three individuals identified as Kingslei Akunemeih, Chigozi Success Ihebom, and John Surpruchi Nwanoru.

These individuals are allegedly linked to the creation and dissemination of the false information. UBA has warned that failure to comply with their directives to cease sharing this content could lead to legal consequences, including defamation suits.

The bank reiterated its commitment to protecting the privacy of its chairman and pursuing all available legal avenues against those responsible.
