UBA Foundation Launches 2025 National Essay Competition with ₦18M Grant Pool

The UBA Foundation launched the 2025 National Essay Competition, increasing the grant pool to over ₦18 million. The competition invites senior secondary school students across Nigeria to write on the theme of utilizing Nigeria's diversity to build a united nation.

Participants must submit scanned copies of handwritten essays by October 17, 2025. The first prize includes a ₦4 million university grant, with second and third prizes offering ₦3 million and ₦2 million grants, respectively.

The initiative aims to promote academic excellence and support students in pursuing higher education. Bola Atta, Managing Director of UBA Foundation, highlighted the competition's role in providing a platform for young Nigerians to share their ideas and foster unity.
