Uba Sani Implements Monthly Debt Payments for Contractors

Governor Uba Sani has received commendation for introducing a monthly payment plan aimed at clearing verified debts inherited from the previous administration in Kaduna State. Engr. Ahmed Baba, the Chairman of the Contractors Association of Kaduna State, made this announcement following a meeting with senior government officials and the association's leadership.

He noted that Governor Sani inherited substantial liabilities but has taken proactive steps to address them, emphasizing that government operations are continuous. The monthly payment arrangement is designed to systematically settle these inherited liabilities, alleviating the financial burden on contractors who previously executed projects for the state.

Engr. Baba praised the governor's leadership, stating that since Uba Sani took office, contractors working on current government projects have not faced payment delays. He described the new payment structure as a crucial support for the construction sector and urged contractors to ensure quality and timely project delivery in response to the governor's efforts.
