UBEC Consoles Victims of Benue School Explosion, Ensures Support

Dr. Aisha Garba, the Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), expressed deep shock over an explosion at the LGEA Primary School in Ater, Benue State, which injured seven pupils.

Garba extended sympathy to the affected families and emphasized the safety of children as a top priority. UBEC is closely monitoring the situation and providing support, with the Benue State Universal Basic Education Board already intervening to ensure affected pupils receive medical care.

The medical bills for the injured pupils will be covered, and the extent of the damage is being assessed to provide necessary assistance.
