Alan Pardew Claims Arsenal Can't Win Champions League

Alan Pardew, a former Premier League manager, expressed his belief that Arsenal cannot win the UEFA Champions League this season, favoring Liverpool as the likely champions. Pardew praised Arsenal's current coach, Mikel Arteta, for maintaining focus during their 4-0 FA Cup victory against Wigan.

However, he remains unconvinced about Arsenal's chances against Liverpool, especially after Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Brentford in the league. In the FA Cup match, Arsenal's Eberechi Eze contributed significantly, helping Gabriel Jesus score the opening goal.

Despite injuries to key players like Riccardo Calafiori and Ben White, Arsenal's performance has been strong, leading them in the Premier League and progressing smoothly in the Champions League group stage. Pardew noted Liverpool's impressive form, having won seven out of eight group matches, and highlighted their commitment to winning the Champions League, which could ease contract negotiations for top players.

Liverpool is set to face Atletico Madrid, Club Brugge, Galatasaray, and Juventus in the knockout stage.
