Arsenal's manager Mikel Arteta has received a significant boost as the team prepares for their UEFA Champions League first leg last 16 tie against Bayer Leverkusen. The trio of players, William Saliba, Leandro Trossard, and Riccardo Calafiori, participated in training on Tuesday morning.

Saliba has been unavailable for the last two fixtures against Brighton and Mansfield Town due to an ankle injury sustained during a 2-1 victory over Chelsea. Both Trossard and Calafiori had to limp off during the FA Cup fifth-round match against Mansfield Town, which Arsenal won 2-1.

Additionally, captain Martin Ødegaard and defender Ben White were not spotted in the training squad, raising questions about their fitness ahead of the crucial match.
