PSG Dominates Slovan Bratislava 6-1 in UCL Opener

On Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) commenced their Champions League campaign with a commanding 6-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava at Parc des Princes. Ferran Torres, a recent signing from Barcelona, netted a hat-trick, while Ousmane Dembele, last year’s Ballon d’Or winner, scored twice and assisted Torres.

The match began with Dembele scoring the opener in the 17th minute, followed by a header from him to make it 2-0 shortly after. Torres then scored his first goal, converting a cross from Dembele to make it 3-0 by the 31st minute.

After halftime, Torres added two more goals, completing his hat-trick before the hour mark. Suleiman Camara scored a consolation goal for Slovan, with Fabian Ruiz sealing the win for PSG.

This victory marks PSG's pursuit of a third consecutive Champions League title, aiming to join Real Madrid as the only teams to achieve this feat. Slovan, coached by Yaya Toure, hopes to improve upon their previous league phase performance.
