Osimhen Wants Galatasaray to Avoid Liverpool in UCL

Victor Osimhen, the striker for Galatasaray, has indicated that he wants his team to avoid facing Liverpool in the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League. Osimhen made these comments following Galatasaray's victory over Juventus in the Champions League round of 16 playoff second leg on Wednesday night.

He noted that Galatasaray had already lost to Liverpool during the league phase of the Champions League this season and believes that Liverpool would be seeking revenge against Galatasaray. Osimhen stated, "Honestly, meeting Liverpool would sort of be a revenge mission," emphasizing the difficulty of such a matchup.

He acknowledged that while Galatasaray has recently defeated Juventus, facing Liverpool would not be an easy task. The Turkish Super Lig champions will face either Liverpool or Tottenham in the last 16 stage of the Champions League.
