UDUS Centre Donates 1,000 Tree Seedlings to Promote Climate Resilience

The Centre for Biotechnology and Plant Tissue Culture at UDUS donated 1,000 tree seedlings to university unions in a bid to promote climate resilience. The initiative, led by Director Ismaila Mohammed Yauri, aims to address the pressing need for collective climate action in the face of environmental challenges.

Beneficiaries of the donation include various university unions and environmental groups, highlighting the importance of sustainable practices in combating climate change. The Vice Chancellor of UDUS commended the Centre for its timely intervention and urged the sustainability and expansion of such initiatives to mitigate ecological threats in Nigeria.
