Kwara Govt Distributes 14,180 Tree Seedlings to Schools for Economic Growth

The Kwara State government, in collaboration with the federal government's Food Systems Transformation Pathways (FSTP) agenda, distributed 14,180 economic tree seedlings to 255 schools across 16 local government areas. This initiative aims to have an educational and economic impact on schools by providing cocoa, cashew, oil palm, and orange tree seedlings.

The distribution event in Ilorin was attended by state officials, emphasizing the importance of educating students on agriculture and crop production. The project also includes the involvement of tertiary institutions for research purposes, promoting sustainable agricultural practices and economic growth in Kwara State.
