UEFA has appointed an ethics and disciplinary inspector to examine the incidents. Vinícius has alleged that Prestianni directed multiple racial insults towards him, with teammate Kylian Mbappé corroborating that he heard the term "monkey" aimed at Vinícius on five occasions.
