UK Police Probe Murder of 60-Year-Old Nigerian Woman Found Stabbed in Her Home

The UK police are investigating the murder of a 60-year-old Nigerian woman, Nkiru Chima, who was found stabbed in her apartment in Romford, East London. The tragic incident was discovered on Sunday evening, July 27, after concerns were raised about Chima's well-being by the British Transport Police.

Officers found Chima's lifeless body with visible stab wounds and pronounced her dead at the scene. The investigation has revealed a possible link between Chima's killing and the death of a man found on train tracks at Romford station earlier that day.

Detective Chief Inspector Joanna Yorke of the Met Specialist Crime Command stated that as the inquiry progresses, they are confident the two deaths are connected. The police are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist in the investigation.
