Umahi Dismisses Obi Death Claims, Accuses Critics of AI Politics

David Umahi, the Minister of Works and a former Governor of Ebonyi State, addressed critics during a weekend inspection of President Bola Tinubu's legacy projects in Ebonyi State. He dismissed claims regarding the alleged death of Peter Obi, the NDC presidential candidate, stating that no one wants Obi dead and that such claims stem from frustration with the administration's visible development efforts in the South East.

Umahi accused critics of engaging in "AI politics," making empty promises instead of delivering measurable achievements. He reiterated that the Tinubu administration remains focused on performance rather than propaganda.

Umahi also highlighted ongoing federal projects in the region, including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, asserting that the people of the South East are better off with Tinubu's leadership and that he is ready to debate Obi on these issues.
