Umahi Vows to Stay Focused on Serving Nigerians and Tinubu

David Umahi, the Nigerian Minister, declared that he will not be distracted from fulfilling his mandate of serving God, President Bola Tinubu, and the Nigerian people. This statement was made during an inspection of road construction progress along the Enugu-Awka-Onitsha expressway.

Umahi responded to recent allegations against him, stating that the matter is already in court and he is prepared to prove his innocence. He emphasized that he will not be deterred by insults on social media and is focused on his work.

Umahi expressed satisfaction with the quality and progress of the road projects, noting that 20 kilometers have been completed, with 13 kilometers being concrete, which he believes will last for the next 100 years. He urged the contractor, Niger Cat, to expedite the process to meet deadlines and highlighted the importance of ensuring that the roads are completed before the rainy season.

Umahi also called on the people of the Southeast to support Tinubu for continued good governance.
