Umahi Defends Against Harassment Accusations, Urges Focus

David Umahi, in a statement made on Saturday, responded to claims made by Traci Nither Ohiri accusing him of sexual harassment. Umahi insisted that he does not owe anyone an apology regarding harassment, stating that during his public office tenure, he has never harassed anyone.

He expressed gratitude to those who know him, asserting that nobody has ever accused him of harassment throughout his eight years as governor. Umahi defended his record, highlighting his achievements in infrastructure development.

He argued that being accused of pursuing a woman is not inherently wrong, referencing his interactions with Senator Natasha M. Umahi urged Nigerians to shift their focus from social media controversies to global development issues, emphasizing the importance of addressing significant global matters rather than engaging in trivial disputes.
