Umeh, Nwoye, Onunkwo Win NDC Senatorial Tickets

Victor Umeh, Toni Nwoye, and Chief Ebuka Onunkwo emerged as the senatorial candidates for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2027 general elections. Umeh will represent Anambra Central, Nwoye will represent Anambra North, and Onunkwo will represent Anambra South.

The primary elections took place on a Friday, with an impressive turnout among party members. The process was overseen by Ikem Uzoezi, the chairman of the NDC in Anambra State, who expressed satisfaction with the peaceful conduct of the elections.
