NDC's Candidate Imposition Allegations by Aspirant Agbonayinwa

Ehiozuwa Agbonayinwa, a senatorial aspirant, publicly criticized the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) and its leader, Seriake Dickson, for allegedly imposing candidates for the senatorial ticket. During an interview on a political program on Channel Television, Agbonayinwa expressed his grievances regarding the party's primary elections, which took place on May 29.

He stated that he and other aspirants who had won their respective senatorial tickets were disappointed by Dickson's plans to endorse another candidate instead of affirming the primary election results. Agbonayinwa specifically mentioned that the NDC had not announced the results of the primaries as of June 5, leading to further frustration among the aspirants.

He lamented that the party's actions undermined the electoral process and expressed concern over the integrity of the NDC's leadership.
