UN and Partners Collaborate to Combat Plastic Waste in FCT and Nasarawa

The UN, Global Environment Facility, and DPI are working together to address plastic waste pollution in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Nasarawa State. The initiative, titled "Deploy Power: Engage Youth for Effective Plastic Use and Waste Management 2.0," focuses on empowering young people to tackle the plastic waste crisis through digital innovation and community-driven actions.

Odusot Ibukun highlighted the urgent need to combat plastic pollution and emphasized the role of youth in finding sustainable solutions.
