UNILAG Opens Direct Entry Registration for 2026/2027

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) announced that online registration for Direct Entry (DE) admission into all undergraduate programs for the 2026/2027 academic year will take place from Wednesday, September 9, to Tuesday, September 22, 2026. Mrs. V.

Abosede Wickliffe, the Registrar and Secretary to Council, urged eligible candidates to carefully follow the registration steps and seek clarification if needed. Candidates must visit the university's application portal at applications.unilag.edu.ng, select "Undergraduate" under "Application Type," and log in using their DE Registration Number and surname in lowercase.

They are required to generate and print a payment advice slip, pay an application fee of N3,500, and complete the application form by uploading relevant academic results. Accepted qualifications include First Degree, HND, OND, JUPEB, and others.

Candidates must have five credit passes in relevant O/level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, and must be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026. The university also specified that personal details must be consistent across all documents submitted.
