Union Bank Celebrates International Day of the Boy Child

On the occasion of the 2026 International Day of the Boy Child, Union Bank Nigeria organized a special outreach program in Lagos, aimed at supporting the education and development of youth. The event took place at CM Grammar School in Bariga, one of Nigeria's oldest and prestigious boys' secondary schools.

The delegation, led by Ali Kadiri, the bank's Head of Corporate Banking and an alumnus of the institution, engaged with students and school authorities to discuss educational support and collaboration. Union Bank donated educational materials, including books and school bags, to encourage academic excellence among students.

The initiative also extended to Methodist Boys High School alongside CM Grammar School. During the engagement, Kadiri praised the school's management for its long-standing commitment to academic excellence and character building among students.

He expressed delight in the school's sustained efforts to nurture the next generation of male leaders. Union Bank remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote the growth and well-being of young boys across the country.
