Femi Azeez made history on Tuesday night by becoming the 62nd player to score on his debut for the Super Eagles during their 2-0 victory over Zimbabwe. Azeez, who plays for Millwall, opened the scoring in the fifth minute and doubled the advantage two minutes after the hour mark.

This performance marks him as the first Super Eagles player to score a brace on his debut in 55 years, with Mathia Obianika being the last to achieve this feat during Nigeria's 4-0 defeat to Burkina Faso in November 1971.
