University of Ilorin Sets August 2026 Post-UTME Screening Dates

The University of Ilorin has unveiled its timetable for the 2026/2027 academic session, detailing admission screening procedures. Next year's mid-August period will host Post-UTME examinations across three days, according to announcements from institutional leadership.

On Friday, Kunle Akogun, serving as the university's Director of Corporate Affairs, released an official statement with the schedule details. The screening exercise runs from Thursday, August 13, through Saturday, August 15, 2026.

All prospective candidates must complete their online registration by Sunday, August 9, 2026, to be eligible for examination participation. Starting Monday, August 10, 2026, those whose registration has been completed should obtain and print their examination slips, as stated by AbdulKareem Kunle Sanni, the university's Admissions Officer.

Candidates have only a single day between slip availability and the start of testing to retrieve their examination materials. Within UNILORIN's admissions framework, the Post-UTME screening functions as a mandatory second stage for applicants who have completed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

Final admission offers depend on both UTME scores and screening performance combined. By distributing the exercise over three successive days, the university can process candidates through multiple testing sessions.
