US Adds 18 Nigerians to 'Worst-of-the-Worst' Deportation List for Serious Offenses

The US Department of Homeland Security has expanded its deportation list to include 18 Nigerians classified as the "worst of the worst" for various serious criminal offenses. This move raises the total number of Nigerians earmarked for deportation to 97.

The offenses linked to the newly listed individuals predominantly revolve around wire fraud, mail fraud, and identity theft. The arrests are part of a nationwide operation targeting criminal immigrants.

The US immigration authorities have emphasized their focus on removing foreign nationals convicted of serious crimes, including the 18 Nigerians added to the deportation list.
