US Congressman Warns Against Destabilizing Nigeria, Citing Terrorism Threat to Christians

US Congressman Riley Moore has cautioned against destabilizing Nigeria, stating that it could embolden terrorists and increase risks for Christians, particularly in the North and Middle Belt regions. Moore, after visiting Nigeria and meeting with officials, church leaders, and aid groups, highlighted the persecution faced by Christians in the country.

He stressed the importance of security cooperation between the United States and Nigeria to address violence and deepen bilateral relations. Moore also met with Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang to discuss security and economic challenges in Nigeria, pledging ongoing American support.
