US Court Orders Release of Tinubu's Drug Records by 2026

United States District Judge Beryl Howell has issued an ultimatum to attorney Jeanine Pirro, appointed by Donald Trump, to release drug-trafficking records concerning Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu. The judge granted Pirro four additional days to comply with the order, setting a new deadline of August 21, 2026.

This decision follows Pirro's request for an extra ten days to obtain records held by the US Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and Drug Enforcement Administration. Dr.

Von Batten-Montague-York disclosed this development, emphasizing the case has been pending for over three years. He expressed appreciation for Pirro and the DOJ's renewed efforts to make the documents public, arguing that US strategic interests with Nigeria should not hinder the release of the records.

He reiterated that supporting an alleged drug trafficker contradicts shared interests, as indicated by former President Trump.
