U.S. Embassy Reschedules Visa Appointments Over Protests

Recent demonstrations have erupted in several Nigerian states, including Lagos, Kano, Sokoto, Gombe, Kaduna, and Yobe, in response to military operations by the U.S. and Israel in the Middle East, particularly following the killing of Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Sheikh Abdulrahman Ahmad, speaking on behalf of the League of Imams, urged Nigerians to exercise restraint and avoid protests that could disrupt peace, especially during the Ramadan period.
