US to Deport 79 Nigerians Labeled as 'Worst-Of-The-Worst' Criminals

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced plans to deport at least 79 Nigerian convicts who have committed various crimes, including fraud, drug trafficking, manslaughter, robbery, and assault. These individuals are part of a special category labeled as the 'worst-of-the-worst' criminal aliens.

The list of deportees includes names like Boluwaji Akingunsoy, Emmanuel Mayegun, Aderemi Akef, Solomon Wilfr, and Chibundu Anuebunwa, among others. The deportation initiative is in line with the US government's promise to remove criminal immigrants from the country.

This move has sparked fear within the Nigerian community across several US cities as President Donald Trump's administration intensifies its crackdown on undocumented immigrants. Some Nigerians have reportedly secretly returned home to avoid formal deportation processes, triggering protests, legal challenges, and public debates on human rights concerns.
