USA Eliminated from World Cup by Belgium's 3-1 Victory

The USA was knocked out of the World Cup following a 3-1 defeat to Belgium. The match saw Folarin Balogun, a striker for Monaco, involved in a controversial red card incident that led to Donald Trump making a call to FIFA to suspend the card.

Belgium took the lead in the first half with Charl de Ketelaere scoring from a low cross by Nicola Raskin. The USA equalized through Max Tillman's deflected free kick, but Belgium regained the lead just two minutes later when de Ketelaere scored again with a powerful header from a Leandro Trossard cross.

The situation worsened for the USA when goalkeeper Matt Freese made an error, allowing Hans Vanaken to score and double Belgium's lead. Romelu Lukaku later added a third goal, sealing the match for Belgium.

They will face Spain in the quarter-finals at the Los Angeles stadium on Friday, July 10.
