Ranchers Bees Confirm Usman Abdullahi's Departure
Ranchers Bees, a Kaduna-based Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) team, confirmed the departure of Technical Adviser Usman Abdullahi and several members of the technical crew on Sunday. This confirmation followed a report by Blueprint newspaper that indicated the dissolution of the technical crew after a 3-1 defeat to Shooting Stars.
The club stated that the separation was by mutual agreement and expressed gratitude for Abdullahi's contributions during his tenure. The announcement also mentioned that the club is preparing to appoint an interim coach to address the team's disappointing performance and restore stability.
The decision came after an ultimatum reportedly issued by the club's General Manager, Alhaji Kabiru Muazu, regarding the team's performance. While the club did not solely attribute the separation to the recent defeat, it acknowledged the need for a change in technical leadership as it looks to improve its performance in the NPFL.
