African School of Economics VC Advocates Economic Strategies to Combat Poverty

Prof. Mahfouz Adedimeji, Vice Chancellor of the African School of Economics, delivered a lecture on overcoming economic crises and multidimensional poverty, stressing the need for education and economic literacy.

He highlighted the challenges faced by millions in Nigeria due to poverty and advocated for capacity development, skill acquisition, and income generation to escape poverty. Adedimeji also mentioned the importance of minimizing expenses, maximizing income, and encouraging youth to volunteer to gain experience.

The article also noted positive economic reforms under President Bola Tinubu's administration.
