VDL Technologies Celebrates 10 Years of Innovation

VDL Technologies marked its 10th anniversary with a celebratory event at the Anthony Civic Centre in Ikoyi, Lagos, on a Friday. The event gathered industry leaders, long-standing partners, and staff to reflect on a decade of resilience and technological evolution.

Founder and CEO Oluwarotimi Fasuyi, alongside his wife and COO Ayodel Fasuyi, recounted the company's early days, emphasizing the challenges faced in the first two years after resigning from their jobs to start the business. Fasuyi encouraged aspiring entrepreneurs to believe in Nigeria as a viable market for launching products.

He unveiled an ambitious roadmap for the next decade, focusing on international expansion into Europe, America, and the Middle East. Professor Sola Oni, Dean of the School of Management and Social Sciences at Pan-Atlantic University, praised VDL's longevity, noting that 95% of startups fail within the first few years.

The event also showcased VDL's Markov Game AI platform and its mental health platform, Amani Health, which connects users with certified therapists.
