Victor Boniface Nears AC Milan Switch After Completing First Stage Of Medical

Victor Boniface is on the verge of joining AC Milan after completing the first stage of his medical assessment. The striker, who impressed last season at Bayer Leverkusen, is expected to join the Rossoneri on loan.

Reports suggest that Milan will pay an initial €5 million for the deal, with an option to buy set at around €20 million. Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio confirmed the progress of the move on social media.

Boniface has agreed to terms on a potential contract that would become permanent if the deal is finalized. AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri is keen to bolster his attacking options, with limited choices up front due to injuries.

Boniface would be Milan's eighth signing of the summer, joining the likes of Luka Modric and Ardon Jashari. The club is hopeful of finalizing the transfer in the coming days.
