Victor Boniface’s AC Milan Transfer Collapses After Medical Concerns

Victor Boniface's transfer to AC Milan has fallen through due to medical concerns, as reported by German outlet BILD. The Nigerian forward underwent four medical examinations in Italy over the weekend, with Milan initially agreeing to a deal with Leverkusen worth €4 million for a loan with an option to buy.

However, doubts about Boniface's fitness led Milan to abandon the transfer. Milan's sporting director Igli Tare confirmed the club's decision, citing concerns raised by Leverkusen's sporting director Simon Rolfes.

Boniface has a history of injuries, including two cruciate ligament injuries and recurring muscle problems. Despite interest from Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr and Belgian side Union, Boniface's future at Leverkusen under new manager Erik Ten Hag remains uncertain.

The player still has three years left on his current contract.
